My daughter’s favorite Christmas gift this year was the smallest gift. I picked up the Little Feminist Mini Memory Matching Game at a store in Austin called A-Town. They have fun gifts for any recipient and any occasion. Whenever I need something creative, it’s my first stop.
We played this game so much over the holidays that she wanted to take it to school. My daughter got good at the game but she added her own element of fun. Her two favorite feminists were Marie Curie and Hillary Clinton. If she was able to match those two, she didn’t care how many matches she got, she felt like she won.
My favorite part is the conversations we had about each of the women. I’m not ashamed to admit that I liberally used google to help me answer some of her questions… I didn’t exactly know why Queen Elizabeth I was chosen for the game. Google and Wikipedia, mom’s best friends.
